17 February 2003 - Hoo Hing unaffected by London Congestion Charging

On the 17 Febrauary 2003, London congestion charging began whereby all vehicles entering central London will be charged £5. We would like to reassure all our customers of the following.

All of our 5 superstores are outside the congestion charging zone.

bullet

All Hoo Hing catering and wholesale customers inside the congestion charging zone will receive their delivery as normal with no increase in charges.

However, below is information for those who wish to enter central London. Starting from 17th February 2003, vehicles entering the congestion zone have to pay a fee of £5 between 7a.m. to 6:30p.m. Monday- Friday. Residents can get up to 90% discount provided that they pay for a minimum of one week at a time.

Payment is acceptable online, by post, phone, text message, debit or credit cards.

Penalty

A £80 penalty will be charged for those who did not pay for the congestion charging. One may face £1,000 fine for deliberately obscuring the number plate.
