10 February 2002 - Mrs Xiaolan Xu wins a trip to Hong Kong!
Following our online promotion where we were giving away free fortune cookies with
every online order and a chance to win a trip to Hong Kong, we are pleased to announce the
winner of the top prize.
Miss Xiaolan Xu from Kent University ordered her groceries from our Online Store
because there was no where near her University to buy authentic Chinese products. When the
parcel was delivered to her halls of residence, she found lots of free fortune cookies
inside. She broke them open, not expecting to win anything and to her surprise one of the
messages was that she had won a trip to Hong Kong. She couldn't believe it and didn't tell
anyone until she was formally presented the prize at our Chinese New Year Party.
The prize is a trip for two to Hong Kong for 7 days including flights and
accommodation. She has chosen to take her mother who is also surprised that her daughter
won such a big prize just by shopping online.
