To celebrate this years moon festival, Hoo Hing held a special party at their store in Enfield, North London. There was lots of
entertainment with DJs from Spectrum Radio (AM558) on stage, oriental food tasting and
cooking demonstrations. There were also lots of popular competitions where a pallet of
Gold Elephant Rice and Gold Plum Noodle were given away!
For the kids, we encouraged them to learn more about the traditional
stories of the moon festival so there were fun and games on stage where they won moon
cakes and cartoon lanterns. The highlight of the day was the huge prize draw. The winners
of the prize draw were as follows.
